Aviation Training School of the agency "Turkmenhovaellary"

The activity of the Aviation Training School of the agency "Turkmenhovaellary" since the establishment of the Turkmen since the establishment of the Turkmen aviation has been to conduct advanced training courses for specialists of aviation enterprises. Since 2004, a secondary special school for training aviation personnel has been established with a study period of 2.5 years. The school is doing a tremendous job in training aviation specialists in the necessary areas for airports, departments of the agency "Turkmenhovaellary". In the structure of the construction of the Ashgabat International Airport, with a capacity of up to 1600 people per hour, were built: a three-storey School building, which houses 35 classrooms for 600 people, a three-storey dormitory building for 150 people and a two-storey building of a training center. A huge support in the training of highly qualified specialists is the purchase of the FFS7000XR simulator by the Canadian company CAE, which performs full-flight operations of the Boeing-737NG aircraft. Simulators of the German company TFC for the study of doors and exit ladders for evacuation in an emergency situation of Boeing-737NG, Boeing-777/200LR aircraft. A simulator that teaches emergency assistance to passengers when landing a Boeing-737NG aircraft on water or on land. A KIDDE simulator that teaches actions in case of a fire on board an aircraft. These simulators enable the crews to undergo training at all stages of the flight: from takeoff to landing, including in case of failure of aircraft equipment, emergency situations or bad weather conditions.

Theoretical training is conducted in three departments of the School:

1) department of advanced training of specialists in the field of language training in accordance with the requirements of ICAO;

2) professional development of specialists and retraining from one direction to another;

3) training of young specialists in the areas necessary for aviation services (the training period is 2.5 years).

To train highly qualified pilots, two single-engine DA-40NG and two twin-engine DA-42NG aircraft of the Austrian company DIAMOND AIRCRAFT were purchased at the School, and the presence of combined simulators of the above aircraft in the training center makes it possible to train advanced pilots in a short time.
